Special Meeting to discuss DOER Grant opportunity prior to a joint meeting of the Select Borard & Energy Committee:

The DOER is offering competitive Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) to municipalities through the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). These grants, not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) (except in the case of item 5 below) are to be used for the following activities:

1. Clean energy planning.
   1. Community-based.
   2. Project-based.
2. Clean energy community campaigns.
3. Energy manager seed funds.
4. Engineering and design for building decarbonization.
5. Public building envelope improvement projects (eligible for funding up to seventy - five thousand dollars ($75,000).
