  1. Meeting Preliminaries

    • Meeting Opened / Attendance Taken (see above).

    • No minutes to approve.

    • - Call meeting to order and review minutes of the previous meeting.

    • - Announcements, Information and log incoming mail.

    • - Citizens Business: Permits and general questions for the board.

    • - 1. 20 Richardson Road - owner Richard Williams. Received a letter William J. Sieruta, PE, dated 5/9/2022 along with 'as builts' stating that an inspection of the septic system was completed. The system is in compliance with 310 CMR 15.0. COC was issued.

    • - 2. Town resident Lizzie Alwan attended the meeting to observe, she has an interest in Public Health and Geriatrics. She is considering either joining the Board of Health or The Council on Aging.

    • - 3. 10 Old Long Plain Road - owners John and Miriam Jenkins. Received Title 5 Inspection Report dated 4/28/2022 from William J. Sieruta. System passes. Received from William J. Sieruta check #176, for $150.00 dated 5/5/2022 for Title 5 Inspection.

    • - 4. The southeast corner of Hemenway Road and Cave is for sale Cathy Neal was asking about the well. A potable water source must be identified in order for new construction. Are there disclosure laws? Pete will investigate. S. Ball proposes the testing of all wells at transfer of the property for arsenic, bacteria, PFAS etc. The Board will pursue.

      General Discussion...
      P. Sylvan suggests that mitigation strategies should allow for treated water.

    • Sawmill (501C3 Organization) - 5. Mr. Samuel Black called into the meeting at 7:29PM he was inquiring as to whether an incinerator or composting toilet could be installed. S. Ball advises that Title 5 CMR 310 15.289 requirements must be met for composting/incinerating toilet, exempting commercial, municipality or private organization. A Porta Potty seems to be the only acceptable option. Call ends at 7:38PM.

    • - Adjourn and schedule next meeting.
